Thank you for visiting!

Anne Hornbeak was born in Baton Rouge and turned her 11th birthday present, "Spyder" a Half Arabian gelding, into a multi Class A and Regional Champion in a variety of disciplines ranging from Trail and Stock Horse to Saddle Seat English Pleasure! A training barn was established in Folsom, Louisiana in 1984, and Anne trained many Regional and National winning Arabians and Half Arabians in a large variety of disciplines—almost everything except dressage. Dressage lessons began in the early 1990's and slowly the barn transitioned to a full time dressage training facility. Anne has worked with a variety of breeds and trained them to local and regional championships from Training Level through Grand Prix, earning her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals along the way. Anne's students have also won and competed at every level with many also earning their USDF Medals. Anne's primary instructor has been Leif Sorensen who comes to the States several times a year from his native Denmark. Anne has also ridden with Olympians Jan Ebeling, Ulla Salzgeber, and Heike Kemmer as well as several other renowned clinicians. Anne is now available for clinics and works with horses and riders of all ages and many disciplines.
